These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the
OneSIM Africa website, eSIM products, connectivity packages and
related services.
OneSIM Africa (“OneSIM”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a service
operated by:
ONE TELECOM
Registration Number: 2018/042727/07
Registered in the Republic of South Africa
Registered Office: Unit 847, Polofield Estate, Waterfall Drive,
Gauteng, 2091, South Africa.
By purchasing, activating or using a OneSIM product or service,
you agree to these Terms, subject to rights that cannot lawfully
be excluded under applicable consumer-protection legislation.
OneSIM provides eSIM-based connectivity and related
telecommunications products intended to enable customers to access
supported mobile-data services in available destinations.
Available packages may differ according to:
- destination;
- supported network;
- data allowance;
- package validity;
- pricing;
- coverage;
- network availability; and
- other package-specific conditions.
Customers should review the relevant package information before
purchasing.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that their device:
- supports eSIM technology;
- is compatible with the purchased OneSIM product;
-
is not carrier/network locked in a way that prevents eSIM use;
and
-
satisfies any technical requirements disclosed for the service.
Customers are encouraged to confirm device compatibility before
purchasing an eSIM.
When purchasing through OneSIM Africa, customers must provide
accurate and complete information required to process the
transaction and deliver the service.
An order is subject to successful payment and any applicable
fraud, security or technical checks.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the email address
and other contact information supplied during checkout are correct.
05
eSIM Installation and Activation
Customers must follow the installation and activation instructions
provided with their OneSIM product.
An eSIM should not be deleted from a device unless the customer
understands the consequences of doing so or has been instructed
to do so by OneSIM support.
Activation conditions and validity periods may differ between
packages. Customers should therefore review the package-specific
information before activation or travel.
06
Data Packages and Validity
Each OneSIM package may have a specified:
- data allowance;
- geographic coverage;
- network availability;
- activation requirement;
- validity period; and
- expiry condition.
Unused data may expire at the end of the applicable validity period
unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular product.
The package description displayed at the time of purchase forms an
important part of the transaction.
07
Network Availability and Coverage
OneSIM may rely on third-party telecommunications networks and
roaming/connectivity partners to provide services.
Network coverage, signal strength, speed, availability and quality
may therefore vary according to factors including:
- geographic location;
- local network infrastructure;
- network congestion;
- device capabilities;
- local telecommunications operators;
- weather or environmental conditions;
- network maintenance; and
- circumstances outside OneSIM’s reasonable control.
References to coverage in a country or destination do not
constitute a guarantee that uninterrupted connectivity will be
available at every location within that destination.
Prices applicable to a transaction will be displayed through the
OneSIM Africa purchasing process.
Prices may vary by destination, package, data allowance, validity
period, promotion or other commercial factors.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the final transaction
amount before completing payment.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.
Those providers may apply their own terms, security procedures and
privacy policies.
South African electronic-commerce rules contemplate disclosure of
matters including supplier information, the full price of
goods/services, payment methods, applicable transaction terms and
refund policies to online consumers.
09
Promotions, Discounts and Referral Codes
OneSIM may periodically provide promotional prices, coupon codes,
referral links, partner offers or other incentives.
Unless otherwise stated:
- promotions are valid only during the stated promotional period;
- promotions may be subject to eligibility requirements;
- discounts cannot necessarily be combined;
- promotional benefits have no cash value;
-
misuse or manipulation of promotional programmes may result in
cancellation of the benefit; and
-
OneSIM may amend or discontinue promotions subject to applicable
law.
10

consumer-protection law.
Refunds may not ordinarily be available where:

network-locked device after compatibility requirements were made
available;
-
the customer deleted or incorrectly installed the eSIM contrary
to the provided instructions;
-
connectivity is affected by circumstances outside OneSIM
Africa’s reasonable control, including temporary local network
availability or coverage limitations; or

Customers requesting a refund should contact
digital@onetelecom.africa with their order number, email address
used for the purchase, and a brief explanation of the issue.
Each request will be assessed based on the circumstances of the
purchase and applicable law. Where a refund is approved, it will
ordinarily be processed to the original payment method, where
possible. Processing times may vary depending on the relevant
payment provider or financial institution.
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or
waive any rights that a consumer may have under applicable South
African consumer-protection legislation.

particular services.
14

disruption to customers.
The OneSIM Africa name, branding, website materials, graphics,
written content, software and other intellectual property made
available through our services are owned by or licensed to ONE
TELECOM or relevant rights holders.
Nothing in these Terms grants users ownership of OneSIM

Users may not reproduce, commercially exploit or misuse protected
OneSIM materials without appropriate authorisation.
16
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ONE TELECOM will
not be responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances
outside its reasonable control, including failures or interruptions
attributable to independent third-party networks.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict liability
or consumer rights where such exclusion or restriction is
prohibited by applicable law.
Personal information collected in connection with OneSIM Africa is
handled in accordance with the OneSIM Africa Privacy Policy and
applicable data-protection legislation, including POPIA.
18
Suspension and Termination
ONE TELECOM may suspend or terminate access to services where
reasonably necessary because of:
- fraudulent activity;

- legal or regulatory requirements.
Any suspension or termination will remain subject to applicable
consumer rights and law.
19
Changes to These Terms
ONE TELECOM may amend these Terms where reasonably necessary to
reflect changes to its services, technology, commercial practices
or legal requirements.
Updated Terms will be published on the OneSIM Africa website with
an updated effective date where appropriate.
Material changes will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South
Africa, subject to any mandatory consumer or other legal
protections that may apply to a customer in another jurisdiction.
