Installation Instructions
Before you start: Install your eSIM while connected to stable Wi-Fi. Do not delete the eSIM after installation, because most eSIM QR codes can only be installed once.
Install on iPhone
- Open Settings, then go to Cellular or Mobile Service.
- Tap Add eSIM, then choose Use QR Code.
- Scan the QR code from your OneSIM email or customer dashboard.
- When asked to label the line, name it OneSIM or your destination.
- Keep your primary SIM as the default line for calls and SMS if you still need your normal number.
- For Cellular Data, choose the OneSIM eSIM when you are ready to use the plan.
- Open the OneSIM line settings and switch Data Roaming on.
Install on Samsung or Android
- Open Settings, then go to Connections or Network & Internet.
- Open SIM Manager, SIMs, or Mobile Network.
- Tap Add eSIM or Download a SIM instead.
- Scan the QR code from your OneSIM email or customer dashboard.
- Name the eSIM OneSIM or your destination so it is easy to identify.
- Set the OneSIM eSIM as the SIM for mobile data when you are ready to connect.
- Open the OneSIM mobile network settings and switch Data Roaming on.
When you arrive
Turn off Wi-Fi, select the OneSIM eSIM for mobile data, and make sure roaming is enabled on that eSIM line.
If it does not connect
Toggle airplane mode on for 30 seconds, restart the phone, then check that the correct eSIM is selected for mobile data.
Avoid common mistakes
Do not delete the eSIM, do not leave mobile data on your home SIM, and do not forget to enable data roaming.
