Is your phone ready for eSIM?
Check your exact phone model before purchasing. A familiar model name alone does not guarantee eSIM support.
Try our device compatibility checker
OneSIM includes a device checker in My Account. Open it on the phone where you intend to install your eSIM. You may be asked to sign in first.
The checker estimates compatibility from the device and browser information it can detect. An unknown result is not a definitive incompatibility result. A laptop or Mac result applies to that computer, not your phone. Confirm your exact phone model, regional variant and network-unlock status using the steps below before buying.
1. Check the device
Look for Add eSIM in your phone’s mobile-network settings. On iPhone, check Settings → Cellular/Mobile Data. On Samsung, check Settings → Connections → SIM manager. On other Android phones, check SIMs or Mobile network.
If you cannot find it, confirm the exact model number and country of purchase with the manufacturer. Regional variants, firmware and carrier restrictions can differ.
2. Check network unlock
Your phone must allow the travel eSIM’s network. On iPhone, check Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock. If locked, ask your original carrier about unlocking. For Android, check with your carrier or manufacturer.
Use the manufacturer’s guidance
The device used to buy the package can be different from the phone where you install it. A browser compatibility warning cannot reliably certify your target phone. Check the phone you intend to use.
Once compatibility is confirmed, follow our installation guide. If you are unsure, contact us before purchasing with the exact model number and country of purchase.
